Job description

Full cooperation is essential with all employees to sustain high levels of productivity. To maintain a high standard of time management in order to complete assigned tasks for the day. Ensure all employee requests are handled as promptly as possible. Be friendly and courteous to all guests as well as fellow staff members.
Responsibilities

Complete the daily checklist for all duties accomplished

  • To assist in maintaining of criteria set by Housing Standards
  • Each day the residence cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Residence Building including common areas, hallways and bathrooms and meal accommodation facilities
  • To perform daily cleaning of sweeping, moping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows, scrubbing of surfaces, and cleaning equipment
  • Cleaning outdoor areas, garbage pick up
  • Orchestrate regular staff trips to surrounding areas such as Banff, Lake Louse and Golden,
  • driving staff in company vehicle provided when required
  • Clean and prepare rooms and cabins for new hire arrivals
  • To assist with recycling and waste removal in all public areas
  • To observe dress code and wear appropriate footwear
  • To ensure public safety including general comfort and wellbeing of public areas
  • To maintain regular work schedule as outlined
  • Snow removal from the main entrance and walkway (seasonal)
  • Special projects may be assigned including deep cleaning
  • To report maintenance concerns/issues that arise with the proper documentation
  • To assist with general maintenance in staff accommodation (for example changing light bulbs)
  • To ensure your master keys are turned in and you sign in/out properly
  • Extra hours required will be authorized by the Housing Manager
  • To perform other duties as required

Required Skills

  • This position requires a full valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour
