Role Summary
Aubay is seeking an IT Projects Business Analyst to join our Global Energy client's team and contribute to the development of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) Technology and Hydrogen projects. In this role, you will support the development of these projects, ensuring that they meet the necessary requirements and deliverables to achieve our client's goal of supporting net zero.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Business Analysis.
- Strong understanding of CCUS Technology and Hydrogen projects.
- Experience in stakeholder management and data analysis.
- Experience in project management, including requirements gathering, project planning, and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Knowledge of relevant IT tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders to understand the requirements of the CCUS Technology and Hydrogen projects.
- Analyse data to support the development of these projects.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, project plans, and project schedules.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of project solutions, including testing and training.
- Continuously monitor project progress and make recommendations for improvement.
