Join us as a Data Analyst

  • Take on a new challenge in a cutting edge data team, in which you’ll contribute to the analysis of complex bank, franchise or function data to identify business issues and opportunities
  • You'll be working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and will ultimately help us to deliver customer remediation relating to a wide range of issues
  • Sitting within Remediation in Shared Services, you'll help to make sure our customers receive their remediation payments and letters in a timely manner

What you'll do

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality business solutions. You’ll capture, validate and document business and data requirements, making sure they are in line with our strategic principles, while working closely with stakeholders to interrogate and interpret large volumes of data to identify, support and challenge business opportunities and identify solutions.

Day-to-day, you’ll also be:

  • Performing data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis
  • Developing and performing standard queries to ensure data quality and identify data inconsistencies and missing data
  • Developing high level operating and business models, as well as detailed process documentation and associated training materials
  • Conducting and supporting options analysis identifying the most appropriate solutions
  • Articulating and quantifying business impacts in a tangible manner

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone who is strongly numerate with good Excel and Access skills and the ability to use complex formulas and pivot tables.

We’ll also look for:

  • The ability to work on your own using your own initiative
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
  • Good technical skills
