Job description
Bodleian Retail is responsible for generating income and profit for the Bodleian Libraries through on-site sales of merchandise.
As a Retail Assistant within the Bodleian Library you will work in both of our shops to contribute to the ongoing success of the department. You will have previous experience of working in a shop floor sales or Visitor Experience role, be self-motivated, dependable and pay attention to detail, with a commitment to providing the highest standards of customer service. You will provide support in all day-to-day operational tasks under the supervision of the Duty Manager.
This is a part-time, permanent position, working 18 hours per week with regular weekend shifts. Current working days include Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
This role will involve manual handling.
