We are looking to recruit on a permanent basis someone to work in partnership with our third party providers in supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the physical and virtual IT infrastructure of the World of Sweets Group. This role will report into our CFO but involve interactions with all parts of our business.
We offer hybrid working after the initial training period where you will work 3 days a week at our Loughborough (LE11 5TX) Head Office or one of our other sites in Sutton-in-Ashfield (NG17 5LD) or Worksop (S80 2RS) and 2 days working from home.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as “on the ground” support in conjunction with our third party helpdesk based in Sheffield in respect of any physical hardware troubleshooting;
- Support in the set up of new users (including in respect of the ordering of equipment) and the timely disabling of leaver accounts.
- Act as intermediary between the business and our various IT based suppliers, including:
- Our primary support partner based in Sheffield;
- Our two EDI software providers for our two respective ERP systems (Swords and SAP);
- The Swords support team;
- Our third party SAP support provider;
- Our mobile phone provider;
- Our card processing software & terminal provider; and
- Our managed service hardware providers.
- Completion of daily maintenance tasks with the objective of automating these to the extent possible.
- Support in the roll out of security enhancements and software upgrades as and when arising
- Maintain hardware trackers.
While responsibilities are apparent above, the successful applicant is expected to be proactive in their pursuit of increased process automation and be effective in correctly reassigning queries to the appropriate support partner.
