Accounts Assistant
Group of Nursing homes in Liverpool L9
The accounts assistant will support the Finance Director in their day-to-day activities from bookkeeping, management accounting, credit control, payroll and other ad hoc duties as and when required. Will suit a new graduate as no previous experience is required and full training will be given.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director
Daily duties will involve:
- Invoice processing on a timely basis
- Checking and paying creditors
- Payment runs and statement reconciliation
- Sales and Purchase Ledger functions
- Payroll
- Petty cash
- Bank reconciliations
Essential experience and qualification criteria
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent all-round IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A-Level or equivalent
- SAGE 50 – experience (advantage)
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
- Willingness to learn new skills and be flexible in your approach
- Evidence of strong ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Salary: £14.00 per hour
