IT Architect - £600 a day - Inside IR35 - South Wales Onsite working - One stage virtual interview - 6 month contract (extensions highly likely) - SC cleared role - 37 hours per week (4 days condensed option) - Sector Aerospace
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a IT Architect to join our client in the Secure Land Communications area of the company
As part of a team dedicated to the Public Safety market segment, your key focus will be campaign and project support for a major Public Safety campaign in UK.
Responsibilities
- Support tender process for mass roll-out of the planned solution for UK governmental authorities
- Take advantage of our DevOps pipeline and tailor it to feed our UK client needs
- Ensure that the solution fits smoothly into our customer's data center environment
- As part of our dynamic and agile team, discuss and align robustness, performance and security aspects of the targeted solution
- On top, identify dependencies and drive technical requirements clarification with stakeholders across customers, to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution
Skills
- Experience in enterprise network technologies as well as experience working in complex IT environments
- Hypervisor technologies (VMWare, OpenStacke
- Experience in scripting and DevOps tools and techniques such as GitLab CI, Ansible and Terraform.
- Knowledge in Kubernetes architectures is considered as a strong advantage.
- Must hold a current SC clearance
