Job Summary:

As an IT Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our organisation's infrastructure. Reporting to the UK Desktop Manager, you will be responsible for managing administrative processes, coordinating equipment logistics, and ensuring seamless operations for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative processes to support the organisation's infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the collection of IT equipment from departing employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage the shipping and delivery of new machines to employees, ensuring timely and secure transportation.
  • Procure IT equipment, including computers, peripherals, software, and mobile phones, following established procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including tracking inventory, conducting audits, and updating asset management systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of IT equipment and resolve any procurement-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs or replacements as required.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies related to equipment usage, asset management, and security.
  • Assist with mobile phone allocation and configuration for employees, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within a relevant field.
