Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a 4 year old pre-schooler who lives with his family in Nottingham and requires support throughout the day and night.
He is currently being supported in a hospice in Loughborough, so you must be willing to get to and from this location for your shifts until he is discharged. We are offering support with the transportation costs until he goes home.
He is a charming and loving little boy that can be shy in the beginning, but warms up to people very quickly. He shows his loveable personality through physical touch and cuddles.
This role is perfect for someone who loves to engage in social activities such as sensory play and nursery rhyme singing. Currently his favourite activity is playing with bubbles!
During your shift you will be supporting him with all aspects of his personal and social needs as well as promoting development through play.
It is advantageous if you have previously worked in complex care however this is not essential.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- PEG Feeding
- Tracheostomy Care
- Oral Suctioning
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time / Part Time
- Days and Nights
- 10pm - 8am
Take a look at our payrates
Weekday £12.50 per hour (£125 approx. per shift)
Weeknights £13.00 per hour (£130 approx. per shift)
Saturday £13.50 per hour (£135 approx. per shift)
Sunday £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per shift)
Bank Holiday £15.00 per hour (£150 approx. per shift)
