Role Overview: As a Fashion Allocator, you will play a pivotal role in our retail success by ensuring that our stores and online channels are well-stocked with the right merchandise at the right time. Working closely with our buying, planning, and merchandising teams, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels and maximizing sales potential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to understand the assortment strategy and financial objectives.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to make informed allocation decisions.
- Allocate merchandise to stores and online channels based on store profiles, size curves, and demand patterns.
- Monitor inventory levels and re-distribute stock as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize overstocking or understocking.
- Identify sales opportunities and potential risks, reacting swiftly to market changes and customer demands.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess stock levels, visual merchandising, and gather feedback from store teams.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure the best presentation of products on the shop floor.
- Provide support in the planning and execution of promotions and markdowns.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to stores and distribution centers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar fashion allocation or merchandise planning role is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends and customer preferences.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
