Salter Grange are currently looking for a strong, internally focused Site Manager - working on a residential project in South London. Fantastic opportunity to join an established company.
You will work closely with the PM looking after the internal package and supporting all day-to-day site activities.
The role will suit a site manager coming from an internal/finishing background with at least 5 years of site experience, working on projects ideally from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Project Manager.
- To follow construction drawings and works information.
- Liaising with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
- To be responsible for the accurate completion of site-based documentation
- Ensuring compliance on-site at all times to the company health and safety, and overall quality standards.
- Coordinating labour and resources on-site, subcontractor management.
- Undertaking company-directed quality control procedures and inspections at the correct timings and rectifying any defects as advised.
- Conducting weekly internal meetings
Requirements:
- An all-rounder understanding of the sequence of work, construction processes and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong IT skills – the ability to use various softwares
- High attention to detail, team player
- Trade background or HND/NVQ qualifications.
- Site experience working on residential development.
