Position: Customer Sales Consultant
Salary: Base salary of £19,530 pa (guaranteed bonus of £290 for first 3 months) with quarterly bonus of up to £3,500 (OTE between £27,000 to £38,000 pa – so LOADS of chance to earn great money!)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with shifts covering Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 5pm
Location: Cardiff city centre, close to excellent public transport links
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: 27th March 2023

So what does the role involve?
The Customer Sales Consultant role will involve handling incoming sales calls from customers wishing to purchase an insurance policy. You will ask effective questions to establish their specific needs to match the right policy to the customer and upsell additional products that suit their needs. You will work to personal sales and performance targets in a busy, fast paced sales environment; working to a common team and company objective.
What are we looking for in a successful customer sales consultant?
- A background in telephone based sales or a highly sales targeted and KPI driven sales role
- Someone who enjoys working with and being challenged by sales targets
- Someone with a great telephone manner, the ability to build rapport quickly and give great customer service
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers, handle objections and have a professional telephone manner
