We have a fantastic new opportunity for a UK Utilities & Infrastructure Project Manager to join our expanding team. You will be working on Multiple Projects across a number of sites across the UK therefore must be happy to travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to the project sponsor for the end-to-end delivery of projects.
- Establish a structure and plan for managing the requirements of CDM, Safety, Health & Environment, and contractor control throughout the duration for the project.
- Lead the delivery of the project with defined objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Preparation of scope briefing documentation, selection of the professional team and Principal Contractor including commercial terms and contractual engagement documentation.
- Maintain an effective and accurate project cost plan, regularly provide updates to stakeholders, value engineer and provide cash flow forecasts.
- Develop a database of contractors having carried out a due diligence exercise to establish that the contractor has a suitable SHE record, relevant insurances, and meets the values expected of a contractor to Bakkavor.
- Lead the installation and commissioning of food and drink infrastructure and utilities in line with food and health & safety legislation and principles.
- Maintain an effective and accurate project timeline, understand how the project interfaces with other projects or the business operation to maintain both the declared project delivery and the business expectations.
- Support effective impact and contingency plans for utilities and infrastructure obsolescence and dilapidation. Support consultation with subject matter experts.
- Support the data collection, development and reporting of utility energy and carbon reduction improvement initiatives.
- Support the management and selection of external suppliers, the setting of objectives for suppliers and performance measurement of suppliers within the context of the organisation’s asset management approach.
- Support the review of any new energy/infrastructure requirements for capital projects.
- Engineering apprenticeship (C&G / EAL NVQ Level 3 / 4 or OAL FDEM Diploma).
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Comply with legislation, asset management standards and company policies.
- Collate, interpret, analyse, and present data for assets/asset systems.
- Application of thermodynamic principals.
- Application of electrical principals.
- Application of energy analytics.
- Interpretation and reading of estate layouts and P&ID’s.
