Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities to our clients who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from an illness or injury.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Care Worker or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving skills and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
