There’s never been a more exciting time to join Doncaster Council.
We are passionate about Doncaster - it’s a great place to live, do business and visit.
We have plenty to shout about – Doncaster is the UK’s best connected location, we have many major developments in the pipeline, a vibrant urban centre with a thriving arts and cultural scene, sport and leisure attractions, wonderful green spaces and a fascinating heritage. We firmly believe, as do our partners, that Doncaster is the place to be with a bright future and ambitions ahead of it. But don’t just take our word for it – anyone joining the council, can look forward to expanding their knowledge and skills in a dynamic, creative and nurturing environment while truly making a difference to the communities we serve.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Young Peoples Services (Children, Young People and Families) as an Information and Service Development Manager. We require a self-motivated individual in this discreet role within the Youth Offending Service (YOS). The YOS is a multi-agency service working to divert children and young people from entering the youth justice system for the first time and to support those who have offended to move away from offending behaviour. Your principal duties will be to produce data returns in a timely manner to meet the Youth Justice Board reporting requirements utilising the YOS Core+ Case Management system. You will provide performance information and data, using toolkit data supplied by the Youth Justice Board, to the Service Manager/Senior Head of Service as and when required and for the YOS Management Board meetings which are held quarterly. Supporting performance monitoring with partner agencies is also part of the role. You will have responsibility for monitoring aspects of the service budget, including dissemination of budget reports and accurate recording of all financial transactions. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy with significant attention to detail. You will line manage the Service and Case Support Supervisor. The Service and Case Support Team provide a range of business support functions to the YOS and associated projects.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we can offer you the chance to be part of a great team dedicated to ensuring that all people in Doncaster thrive. You will also have access to a variety of attractive employee benefits including competitive leave entitlement, local government pension scheme and access to a range of staff discount and flexible benefits schemes.
