Job Description: Security Guard at Builders Merchants Yard
Position: Security Guard Company: The Best Connection Client Location: Aylesford Job Type: Ongoing leading to a full-time role Working
- Days: Monday to Saturday Working Hours: 06:30 to 17:00 (shared over a 5-day shift pattern)
- Hourly Rate: £11 per hour
- Payment: Weekly Pay
- SIA License: Not required
Job Responsibilities: As a Security Guard at the builders merchants yard, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the security and safety of the premises and customers. Your duties will include:
Welcoming customers: Greeting customers as they arrive at the yard and providing them with a friendly and helpful service.
Directing customers: Assisting customers in finding their way around the yard, guiding them to the appropriate sections for their needs.
Conducting random spot checks: Monitoring customers who are leaving the yard with large orders, performing spot checks to ensure that they have properly paid for their purchases.
Security Surveillance: Keeping a vigilant eye on the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or any other unauthorized activities.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this Security Guard position should possess the following qualities:
Customer-friendly: Displaying excellent customer service skills and maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor towards all customers.
Confidence: Being self-assured and capable of handling various situations with a calm and composed attitude.
Knowledge of Building Materials (Preferred): While not mandatory, having prior knowledge of building materials will be advantageous in assisting customers effectively.
