Who are we looking for?
The Professional Services team supports our customers through a collaborative approach so that we can achieve successful outcomes for all parties.
Reporting into the Head of Professional Services, the role of the Implementation Consultant will enable our customers to maximise the benefit they get from our systems through the delivery of technical solutions that increase the effectiveness of a business process.
Some travel will be required as part of the role as Mutual Vision does provide onsite support during customer Implementations.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Deliver high quality technical solutions that meet or exceed the expectations of our customers
- Undertake data migration activities that enable our customers to successfully transition from legacy systems
- Undertake configuration activities for the relevant product to enable our customers to tailor our systems to meet their business requirements
- Development management information solutions for our customers using the Pan Intelligence business intelligence software (where required)
- Develop workflow solutions for our customers using tools for the relevant product.
- Develop standard import solutions for customers (where required)
- Support in the delivery of on-site and off-site training and knowledge building services (where required)
- Support our customers in the implementation of our technical solutions.
- Work with our Business Consultants to translate customer requirements to technical solutions in the context of the relevant sector
- Develop and maintain good internal relationships across the business
- Communicate with customers with regard to the specification, execution and delivery of technical solutions, making sure that customers are fully informed of progress and barriers to success throughout
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
We are looking for a committed individual who can design and deliver Professional Services and support services under the Mutual Vision Digital Mutual ethos both internally and to our customers.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to confidently present technical solutions
- Understanding of the financial services sector and financial services terminology
- Application of critical thinking to understand, analyse and interpret issues and suggest solutions
- Ability to translate customer requirements into comprehensive solution proposals.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Articulate when talking about basic technology terminology with an understanding of the current technological climate
- Good commercial awareness
- An intermediate level understanding of Structure Query Language (SQL) and report writing.
Nice to have:
- At least 5 years’ experience of working in Financial Services
- Experience and understanding of core banking solutions
- Broad understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) skills
- Knowledge of C# or Visual Basic
- Business Intelligence knowledge and experience
