Project: Research and biopharmaceutical sector ranging from managing global property portfolios and business case development to construction delivery, fit-out commission and hand-over.
This is a new role supporting the pharmaceutical and technology business unit in our consult engine.
Due to a period of growth we are looking to appoint a HVAC Engineer with experience working in the pharmaceutical or related sector.
To support our client in all areas relating Black Utilities including LTHW, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, Steam and Condensate and LAB Gases installation, maintenance, commissioning, Continuous Improvement and fault finding
Thorough knowledge and understanding of “Pressure Equipment Directive Regulations”.
To review and feedback on detailed specifications/designs for the fabrication and purchase of all black utilities plant across engineering functions
To collaborate with the principle contractors, to ensure that detailed constructability reviews are carried out as design progresses.
Comment on the proposed equipment, layouts, people and materials flows
Advise on the implications of design actions to help ensure that the design meets statutory and regulatory requirements.
Provide regular progress reports and early warning of potential issues relating to existing equipment and new installations
To ensure that design complies with relevant GSK Design Guides and local engineering practices.
Ensure value engineering workshops are carried out at the appropriate times to the project and that there is a ‘value culture’ developed within the design team
Undertake and complete technical walkdowns of existing installations to red line drawings
Produce written reports detailing risks and non-compliance of current installations
Review current Standard Operating Procedures and map compliance against GSK global Quality Policies.
Review current installations against EHS legislation .
