We have a great Job opportunity for an HR Specialist to join our growing team in Swindon.
The HR Specialist forms part of the EMEA HR Operations Team. Responsibilities will include the organisation and maintenance of employee records using HR Information Systems, preparing documents such as employment contracts and contract addendums, supporting the onboarding process, revising, updating and proposing company policies, developing, and refining HR processes, liaison with external partners, such as benefit, insurance, and pension vendors, and ensure HR legal compliance across all countries.
In addition, the role will be to give support and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, manage the EMEA HR mailbox in partnership with other members of the EMEA HR Team, and work closely with and support the EMEA Payroll and Talent teams.
HR project work, especially concerning process improvement, and integration, will also form an important part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, efficient and customer focused HR advisory service across EMEA on a range of HR policies and procedures in relation to terms and conditions of employment, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- To provide HR advice and support in relation to discipline and grievance, recruitment and selection, sickness absence, performance management, organisational change and training and development.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department across EMEA.
- Ensure that updates to payroll are communicated efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure that monthly payroll and benefits processes run smoothly.
- Assist with handling employee and manager questions and queries via the management of the EMEA HR Mailbox.
- Assists HR Business Partners with employee relation investigations and partners with legal as needed.
- Conduct new hire onboarding, collect all new hire paperwork, including right to work, and submission to payroll.
- Ensure all data handled by HR is done so in a compliant way according to country legislation across EMEA.
- In conjunction with the Senior HR Manager, review and maintain HR processes and procedures and implement new or improved processes.
- Partner with the HR data processing team in Bangalore, EMEA Payroll, HR Specialist colleague and Finance.
- Ensure all data on manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.
- Ensure standardization across policies and processes where possible, utilizing HR systems to eliminate manual processes.
- To attend formal meetings as required, support investigations and prepare for meetings/hearings which are of a sensitive and confidential nature.
- Support, where required, on consultation and engagement with works councils.
- Special Projects, as required.
- Some facilities support, for example supporting lease renewals and office moves.
- Ensure HR knowledge is up to date, including legislation, best practice, and trends in HR.
Education/Experience
- 1-3 years of Human Resources Administration or Generalist experience
- Skilled communicator, both written and oral
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees from entry level to Senior Management
- Ability to multi-task with subjects that may be unfamiliar, and problem solve.
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS office and ability to learn HRIS System

Salary: £20,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
