KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Support:
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and align HR strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with Management and other departments to develop internal communication strategies
- Develop an employee relations culture that emphasizes and supports the role of line managers as leaders of people and company culture.
Employee Relations:
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees to promote a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and resolutions on employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Participate in the interview process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Supervise day-to-day compliance activities such as hiring background checks, right to work checks, proof of residency.
Performance Management:
- Guide and advise on the Performance Development process, to ensure each individual has an annual discussion with their manager on their future development, their performance is measured, training needs are identified and acted upon.
- Provide coaching to managers on performance reviews, feedback, and improvement plans.
Learning and Development:
- Partner with Leaders and Supervisors on Talent Management and employee development, including implementation of employee and leadership development programs.
- Assess training needs within the business units and coordinate training initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Retention:
- Work with the management teams to develop employee engagement strategies and initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
Organizational Development:
- Support the leaders with the Talent Management processes such as Organization Review (leadership planning, organizational changes, analysis of diversity and demographics), Talent Review, and ensure implementation of development plans or other actions.
- Collaborate with business leaders on organizational restructuring and change management efforts.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Lead the annual salary review process with wage proposals and manage the overall compensation program.
- Collaborate with the centralized UK team for payroll & benefits administration
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Direct and guide the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies and practices (UK, European and Global) to attract, retain and develop our talent.
- Manage various corporate compliance programs, such as Ethics and 1EGP.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws & regulations
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, absence and medical capability procedures.
Immigration
- Work with employee and managers to assure compliance for immigration and tax for productive work and business travels.
- Work with local HR team in country on required documents for travel outside of the UK
HR Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and measure HR effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management to support data-driven decision-making
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree or equivalent.
- Experience as an HR professional within the full employee lifecycle.
- Knowledge of UK Employment law and its application.
- Experience working in an international matrix organisation is helpful
- A drive to achieve results, tackle complex situations, establish and nurture meaningful relationships.
- Ability to travel to Corrosion and Erosion site in Crawley on a regular basis.
