Job description
Comtek is a Global provider of repairs, spares, and support to the Telecoms, Datacoms, and Network service industry. We are now recruiting for a Financial Controller to oversee the finances of our offices and inform the work of our small, friendly, and motivated accounts team.
The ideal candidate
· Must be a qualified Accountant.
· Experience in corporate finance and financial modelling would be advantageous.
£40-£50k FTE
Flexibility in terms of hours, 20-40 hours per week.
The main duties of this role include creating and analysing financial reports, advising the senior management team on all financial issues, delegating accounting tasks to other team members and reconciling financial statements.
Other duties involve,
· Reconciling the balance sheets
· Producing monthly management accounts
· Producing short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
· Completing month-end and year-end routines for all ledgers – including preparation and posting of relevant journal adjustments
· The reporting and analysis of major business costs, including the preparation of budgets and monthly budget variation analysis.
· Liaising with outside agencies
· Supporting funding applications
· Leading, motivating and coaching a small accounts team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
