Position:
We're fully flexible. If it suits your role at Deltatre, you can work full time from home/remotely, from the office, or a combination within the same country as your contracted office of employment.
The Country HR manager will be part of a wider Global HR Team, as the HR specialist in the specific country. The person filling this role can except it to be hands-on and will be required to assist with the management of the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives within the country of responsibility.
As the Country HR Manager you will be the first point of contact for line managers for all HR related queries leading the local HR team to ensure that all day-to-day duties and responsibilities are proactively undertaken, and that all relevant country legislations and regulations are met.

Reporting into one of the HR Leads, this role will also work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition head.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for managers in providing local guidance and advice on all HR matters, escalating as appropriate to the relevant HR Lead.
- Coach the UK HR team.
- Manage the implementation of the People agenda and initiatives at country-level.
- Manage local employee relations matters, coaching and advising managers of best course of actions.
- Facilitate the effective performance management and goal setting.
- Manage probation process with working closely with managers.
- Manage new joiners and leavers process, including effective onboarding, exit interviews and analysis of relevant data and trends gathered with 100 days survey and exit interviews.
- Active involvement in hiring supporting Talent Acquisition Team including, when required: arrangement of interviews, coordinating with candidates, agencies and interviewers as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the Global resource provider (Remote or equivalent) and manage of the resources engaged through them.
- Manage of Casual workers, annualised hours resources – working closely with the manager to ensure the best and most effective engagement of these resources, and management in accordance with relevant legislations.
- Collaborate with PMO in the management of timesheets in NetSuite.
- Manage the UK employee programmes, staff benefits and packages.
- Ensure compliance with current regulation, including accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection and the Equality Act).
- Responsible for H&S within the UK – working closely with the Office Management team.
- Manage the UK HR budget.
- Ensure that the HR system is updated regularly, always correct with all changes, starters and leavers.
- Manage of the absence/holiday reporting ensuring employees consume their leave (limiting unused leave accrual).
Requirements:
Experience
- Solid HR generalist experience at HR Manager level.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
- Ability to manage the implementation of employment policies.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle all HR matters during the full employees’ life cycle (from hiring, through to performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, employee retention and exit management).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good empathy and emotional intelligence – ability to work with highly technical managers and employees.
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationship in a short period of time.
