Risk Analyst - Financial Services
Salary circa £40k pa (DOE)
Hybrid-remote
This role will involve 2-3 days working from a Succession office hub and the rest from home. Some travel to other locations will be required on occasion.

We have over 600 employees and 170 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices.
Due to our continued growth Succession now have a fantastic opportunity within our Risk and Compliance Team for a Risk Analyst.
The role
Working closely with the Risk Director, the primary focus of this role is to maintain and develop the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and by providing challenge and support to the use of the ERMF and associated tools across the Group.
Key responsibilities include
- Administration of the risk event process and oversee the management of risk events to resolution by the business, supporting root cause analysis and monitoring action plans to completion.
- Act as the administrator of any tool used to record and track risk events.
- Provide support to business teams in the use of the Risk system, Resolver, and other tools, working with the Risk & Control Analyst to develop and maintain the functionality within the tool.
- Assist with the maintenance of risk registers across all business areas and assist the business in identifying and assessing risks helping them to design strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Review and validate that risk management processes are being adhered to by the business and escalating any non-adherence as appropriate.
You
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced, agile environment. Our ideal candidate would have:
- Two or more years of experience of risk within Financial Services.
- A good understanding of risk management frameworks and tools.
- A very good knowledge and experience in managing the deployment of risk systems, preferably Resolver.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business and client focused when dealing with a range of people.
- Ability to analyse data, problem solve and make decisions confidently.
- An understanding of process, risk and control management and how it can be applied to deliver outcomes for clients, the business and regulators.
- A high level of integrity, professional standards and ethics.
- Excellent MS Office skills, including proficient use of Excel.
