This is an exciting time to join our HR team as we continue to develop and deliver our innovate People Strategy across HDFT and Harrogate Integrated Facilities, a wholly-owned subsidiary.
1. To build effective relationships with Directors and Managers within specified Directorates in order to deliver Human Resources best practice into working practices to improve employee experience and meet directorate service requirements.
2. To provide professional Human Resources advice as an autonomous practitioner and support on a range of very complex and sensitive employment issues, including:
- • All Employee relations matters
- Employment legislation (UK and European)
- Human resources best practices
- Policy interpretation and advice
- Terms and conditions of service (all staff groups)
- Contracts of employment (all staff groups)
- Change management (redeployment, TUPE, redundancy)
- Recruitment, strategic resourcing and workforce planning and role modernisation
- Retention
- Job evaluation and re-grading.
- Medical staffing (including medical conduct & capability (MHPS))

2. In conjunction with the Workforce Development Team to support the delivery of mandatory and essential skills training compliance is maintained across the relevant directorate.
3. To plan and implement the design and delivery of relevant Directorate strategies including organisational restructures and change management programs including TUPE
4. To maintain a full and up to date knowledge of terms and conditions of service, Trust policies and procedures, employment law and human resources best practice.
5. To research, draft and negotiate policies and procedures that apply Trust wide in line with changes or new introductions in employment law and the Trust’s needs.
