Job description
An HR Assistant with c.2-3 years previous experience (helpful but not essential if some has been within the construction industry) to support a newly appointed HR Manager.
The HR team will support a growing and dynamic business and this opportunity will provide the successful candidate with an exceptional opportunity to learn and develop their career.
The role will consist of the following areas (along with other relevant duties);
- Assist & handle recruiting activities including sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, providing follow-through with candidates and reporting recruiting statistics.
- Handle employee on-boarding activities; answer employee questions and provide support to managers when integrating new hires into the organization.
- Assist for the performance review process; provide employees and managers with information about the process, policies, update job descriptions, reclassifying duties etc.
- Maintain employee’s attendance, leave records, organize personal records.
- Maintain payroll status on monthly basis and assist payroll department by providing relevant information.
- Assist to Lead employee recreation and recognition programs.
- Ensuring timely confirmation of probationers, assist to implement increments, promotions criteria etc.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Assist to enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly organizing team building activities.
Hours of work: 9-5pm Monday to Friday
Holiday entitlement: 20 days (plus bank holidays)
