As part of our fashion & lifestyle design team, this role will be key in delivering inspiring creative development across key categories as required, including but not limited to- graphic assets for seasonal style guides, design books, trend tool-kits and fast fashion projects. Plus, helping to create compelling product visualisations, and assisting on the creation of decks for commercial pitches. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and creative team, designing assets that tell the story of our world-famous properties and characters, across a breadth of product categories. This role will report to the Design Manager for Fashion and Lifestyle, based in London. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of style guides and inspirational product executions for franchises across key product categories, that maintain the integrity of the IPDevelop graphics from concept to final artwork, including placements, patterns, borders, icons and product visualsCarry out comprehensive trend research across a range of product/consumer segmentsAssist in the creation of commercial pitches to support new and existing businessDevelop creative assets, trend tool-kits and communication tools to support and drive business across EMEA, perfecting the balance between trend and commercialityProduce all designs to a high standard and agreed deadlinesEnsure assets and artworks are technically correct and ready for use, and compliant with approvals from various stakeholders, providing general creative admin supportIdentify new trends that are relevant to the EMEA region, and use consumer insights to apply them in a way that maintains core values whilst inspiring licensees and retailersWork closely with senior designers and design manager, supporting on projects as requiredContribute in creative brainstormsBuild relationships across teams to take part in wider company culture Qualifications About youAdaptable, agile & flexible – able to pivot quickly, adapt strategies and deal with change.Willing to learn – open to new skills, ways of working, how things work and why.Good communicator – honest, transparent, and flexible depending on the audience. Skills/Qualifications2-3 years design experience in apparel within the licensing or retail sector, supported by a successful portfolioAble to demonstrate an understanding of multiple production methods and limitations, preferably with the fashion and home categoriesAble to realise commercially viable product ideas that elevate consumer products wherever possibleUnderstanding of current and upcoming fashion trends and the ability to translate them into commercially viable product ideasAdvanced illustrator/ photoshop design and artworking skillsUnderstanding of storytelling, using graphics to bring our IP’s to lifeProven ability and keen interest in designing for character licensed properties or lifestyle brandsStrong communication skills, written and verbalAttention to detail, visual communication, concept & graphic design skills will be essential to this roleStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment Personal CharecteristicsPassionate and highly motivatedKeen knowledge and interest in the fashion industry, new trends and consumer needsProduct and commercial mindset to further creativityAbility to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet mannerTeam player with an empathic and can do attitudeFlexible, and able to respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities.
