Location: Chatham, Medway
Contract Status: Full-time – 40 hours a week

Renumeration: £18000- £23000
Who are we?
Time4U Ltd are an independent support living provider in the Southeast, with properties in Medway, Gravesend, Maidstone, London, and Milton Keynes. Since the company was established in 2016, we’ve grown from just 4 members of staff to 125 members of staff. We are trusted by Kent County Council and are one of their first points of call when it comes to placing their clients with mental health and learning disabilities. As a result of this, we are recruiting support workers each month as the number of clients we support increases.
Summary Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to help develop our Human Resource function within the HR team. You will play a central role in ensuring that our internal HR system delivers excellent support to colleagues, from recruitment and selection to general HR support.
The successful candidate will need to be a problem solver and enjoy developing and improving systems and processes. You will be dealing with confidential and sensitive information, so discretion and sound judgement are critical. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at every level.

Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Lead on the recruitment process to include:
o Create job adverts
o Manage incoming applications, scheduling interviews with the hiring managers.
o Lead on the interviews from a HR perspective.
o Work with external recruiters on incoming applications.
o Ensuring the applicant tracking system is always up to date.
o Send offer letters.
o Undertaking employment reference checks and submitting DBS checks.
o Where necessary check right to work documentations.
o Setting up new starters on the online HR system.
Onboarding
Provide an effective and efficient onboarding experience for our staff by:
o Set up HR induction meeting with the new starter and line manager.
o Set up new starters on internal systems (QCS, Outlook, Careskills Academy)
o Guide staff to read and acknowledge all appropriate policies.
o Complete all necessary new starter documentation and updating the physical staff files.
General Administration
Provide support to the HR manager by:
o Proactively identify opportunities to improve internal processes and systems.
o Accurately entering data into the online HR System.
o Ensuring policies and guides are updated on various systems.
o Managing and maintaining the Recruitment inbox.
o Reviewing our recruitment practices and process to better support inclusion and diversity at Time4U Ltd.
o Manage the training matrix for the support staff.
o Actively pursuing any other ad hoc projects which the HR manager may request of you.
Skills and experience
Required
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge of MS Office.
- Some experience in similar administrative role.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent writing and numeracy skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, can-do attitude and ability to work on you own initiative.
- Commitment to providing excellent service.
Desired
- Working toward a CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a HR team.
- Previous experience working with application tracking systems.
- Previous experience working with online HR systems.
