Job description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.
· To review accident and incident which occur in the area of responsibility and conduct field audits, reporting the corrective actions. Prepare learning points from incidents and ensure these are circulated to all relevant parties.
· To coordinate with Project Mangers to ensure all new projects undertaken within the organization have considered the EHS impact and obtained all required authorizations/permits to keep project completion on time.
· Perform and contribute the site training plans by conducting employee orientation; emergency response training; and coordination of modular and training programs of the operation.
· Assists the, technical and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
· To prepare Health and Safety documentation for new projects, clients and vendors.
· Assist with maintaining the site preparedness and emergency plan and procedures.
· Responsible for assisting in the identification of possible losses, evaluating the risk in such loss exposure, developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness.
· Maintain and update as needed SOPs for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in a day-to-day training.
· To the extent feasible, limiting the tower height and giving preference to non-guyed tower construction designs (e.g. using lattice structures or monopoles); ·
· If guy wired towers are located near critical bird habitats or migratory routes, installing visibility enhancement objects (e.g. marker balls, bird deterrents, or diverters) on the guy wires;
· · Limiting the placement and intensity of tower lighting systems to those required to address aviation safety. Possible alternatives include the use white and / or strobe lighting systems
· Installed using a cable-laying vessel and a remotely operated, underwater vehicle. Issues associated with marine habitat alteration include disruption to intertidal vegetation and marine life, including marine mammals, and sedimentation resulting in turbidity and reductions in water quality
Reporting to PM’s/GM on deficiencies and monthly safety inspection of sites.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
