Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a multi-talented HR Recruitment & Data Analyst to join a small but friendly HR team. Based in Manchester and reporting to the Group HR Director, you will be responsible for providing support with both recruitment and retention and taking a lead on data analysis across a number of areas. This role requires someone with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Recruitment - Supporting recruitment and retention of talent and increasing our global and diverse footprint is important to us. This part of the role includes:
- Developing new and innovative approaches to attract quality candidates using a variety of networking tools, social media and jobs boards.
- Reviewing CVs and carefully selecting candidates that are suitable for the role.
- Conducting and arranging screen calls for candidates ensuring the role is fully explained.
- Shortlisting candidates for review and subsequently arranging and confirming interviews.
- Preparing contracts of employment and organising e-signatures for contracts and supporting company policies.
- Ensuring that references have been obtained prior to employment and the necessary background and right to work checks have been conducted and verified.
Data Analyst – You will be responsible for analysing key HR data to provide insight on patterns, trends and identify issues:
- Generation of reports, both ad hoc and scheduled for distribution to relevant stakeholders across the group.
- Run, organise and transform data from multiple sources into a comprehensible structure, ready for analysis.
- Perform simple data analysis to support stakeholders with key HR metrics i.e people movements, gender pay gap, ethnicity gap, holiday and absence reporting.
- Maintaining data integrity in systems by running queries & performing regular data audits.
- Act as first point of contact for all data, reporting and BambooHR queries, escalating to the Group HR Director as required.
- Work with the wider global HR team to enhance their data and reporting skills, allowing them to be self-sufficient for basic reporting/queries.
- An ability to work under pressure, work to high volumes and remain professional and resilient at all times.
What we’ll expect from you:
- You will be passionate about supporting, attracting, retaining and developing our talent, with at least 18 months previous experience of recruitment.
- Inquisitive mindset and a thirst for knowledge.
- Demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite with experience using advanced Excel skills (Including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP's).
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Initiative and personal drive to manage and deliver your workload without the need for frequent supervision.
- You will be customer focused, dedicated, organised and have great attention to detail.
