BDS are recruiting for an experienced support worker based in Lincolnshire.
Working 28 Hours a week
There are day and night positions available
Nights 22:00 to 08:15 – 4 nights on 4 nights off
Days shift pattern below
Week 1 - 08:00 - 16:00 - Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2 - 08:00 - 16:00 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Week 3 - 14:30 - 22:30 - Wednesday Saturday and Sunday
Week 4 - 14:30 - 22:30 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Pay rate of £15.10 per hour PAYE or £18.82 per hour UMB
This is for an intensive needs service supporting young people on a 1 to 1 and a 1 to 2 basis.

This role is in the Intensive Needs team in Lincoln.
To provide young people, aged 16 – 21 who have intensive and complex support needs, the essential living skills required for them to move on independently and live happily, settled and safe within the community.
To work in a enthusiastic and inspiring manner with young people, in their living environment, in order to empower them to engage with the support package and to achieve desired outcomes.
To be the first point of contact for each young person within a positive and empowering service, delivering direct support within their home environment
Where necessary you will be expected to respond to any complaints in relation to the property in a co operative and professional manner, and in all instances report to your line manager.
Complete relevant budgeting work with the young person, depending on their level of need, for example, completing a grocery shop with the young person in the local community.
Support the young person to register with a local GP, dentist, any other relevant health providers and, where necessary, attend any health related appointments with the young person.
Support the young person with cooking and dietary needs, encouraging them to cook meals and consume a balanced diet within their budget.
Support the young person to explore ETE options and to engage with their chosen option.
To ensure that all accommodation is adequately equipped, furnished and cleaned by informing management if the accommodation requires any replacement goods and completing all cleaning duties.
There may also be a requirement to work on own in the community and/ or service setting/ at other hub locations within Lincolnshire
Ability to work individually as all shifts are lone working, but also to be able to work with others to build a safe and effective team around the individual as and when required.
This position will suit someone with previous independent living, supported Housing or tenancy support back ground.
