We have an exciting new opportunity here at Panks!
Panks is a friendly, family run business, established in 1842, located in Norwich. We are currently looking for an organised individual with prior experience in HR, to join the HR department as the Office Manager
This is a full-time position with a six month probation period, then a permanent position for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to Managing Director and will oversee smooth running of the business.
- Carrying out disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Liaising with payroll/accounts with any changes in employment
- To lead or support initiatives across the business that promote health and wellbeing.
- Contributing to incident investigations when necessary.
- Working alongside the HR Assistant and external H&S Advisor
- Manage the customer complaint procedure
- Maintain HR records including pay reviews.
Essential/Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 5 CIPD Qualification (E)
- Experience in HR (E)
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of the HR Function including, GDPR, policies & procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- High level of IT skills
- High level of literacy
- Self-motivated
Performance/measurement review: 6 Month Probation & 12 Month Appraisal

Salary: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
