What is the role of a healthcare assistant?

Types of duties may include:

  • observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
  • communication with patients, relatives and carers
  • assisting with clinical duties
  • infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: From £13.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hebden Bridge: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
