Headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Spotless Brands operates 4 different car wash brands across 145 locations in 8 states and Washington D.C. Spotless Brands owns and operates Phoenix/Colorado-based CobbleStone Auto Spa, Oklahoma City-based Okie Express Auto Wash, Washington D.C based Flagship Car Wash, and Tennessee-based Ultimate Shine Car Wash.
What will you do?
In this hybrid position, the HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources department partnering with the field operations leaders to provide both strategic and tactical solutions to help drive the growth of the business. The Generalist will be out in the field working with the site leaders to develop performance management and succession planning, stay on top of employment laws and compliance, and acts as a consultant to the business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programsincluding but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Investigate and determine employee needs
Encourage employees to be brand ambassadors
Plan employee referral programs
perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.)
Reviews employment applications and background check reports
Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process
Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
Suggest measures for improving employee retention
Lead, oversee and supervise members of the recruiting team
Determine HR KPIs and present

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least three years of human resource management experience preferred in a manufacturing, logistics, retail or related environment.
SHRM-CP a plus.
