The post:
We are looking to recruit an HR Advisor within the Policy and Case Management workstream of PS&E to provide a comprehensive policy and case management advisory service to support the full range of people management matters.
People Solutions and Experience are a team within the Human Resources and Workforce Development department. PS&E provides three service across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to terms and conditions of service and policy, advice and guidance to National Services Scotland (NSS) and as a shared service to Public Health Scotland (PHS).
The candidate:
You will have a strong operational HR background with good knowledge and experience of NHS policy. A solutions-based approach is required to be able to balance requirements to meet policy, terms and conditions and legislation whilst working in partnership.
Managing your own caseload you will provide support and advice on a range of people issues at informal and formal stages of; attendance management, conduct, grievance, capability and bullying & harassment.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with demonstratable HR experience, you should have your Graduate/Chartered Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development or clear evidence of working towards this.
Location and working pattern:
The post can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
We are currently operating in a hybrid working model but there will be an expectation of attending office when required.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
