Job description

The Position

General position summary/purpose:

Responsible for the Data Quality initiatives in PT collaborating with BCL, Operations, IT and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and implement data auditing rules. Develop, or oversee the development, of performance metrics and analytics dashboards, collaborate with the Performance Manager for PT Master Data that will monitor the progress of master data operations and highlight opportunities for continuous process and data quality improvements.

Job description – primary duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the development, deployment, and testing of Informatics Data Quality tool rules in the PT Data Quality application for PT Master Data

  • Provide direction to the IT Information & Insights Architecture team in collaboration with BCO/BCL

  • Responsible for prioritizing the build of Data Quality rules development and operational issues with the DQ too

  • Gather and document business data quality requirements for Ataccama implementation

  • Oversee Veeva data and process discrepancy management, corrective actions, and root cause analyses such as Unplanned (UPE) & Planned Events (PE) Process for PT Master Data in collaboration with BPO

  • Coordinate with PTQ and PT Master Data to ensure adherence to QMS compliance rules for Veeva Vault one QMS; Quality Management System (QMS (TCM, DMS, and CAPA) and Phoenix

  • Influence the direction of data quality standards and guidelines in collaboration with the Data Governance Office

  • Co-own and collaborate with the Business Capability Leads (BCL) improvement Initiatives, such as enhancing operational processes to increase efficiency, address data quality issues, and strengthen data integrity

  • Champion the development of analytics reporting tools and dashboards to address compliance visibility needs within PT to monitor and improve data quality integrity, data quality and adherence to compliance regulations

  • Be a catalyst for change. Coach and mentor colleagues in quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Coordinate, participate and support in Self Inspection and Audits as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in this area is required

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst role

  • Knowledge of software systems and relational databases

  • Experience with large scale analytics technologies (e.g. Spark)

  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlikview/QlikSense, Business Objects, and/or Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation preferred

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical production and an understanding of quality processes and procedures is a plus

  • Fluent in English. German, Spanish or French are an asset.
