Job description
PepsiCo is looking for an experienced HR Partner R&D to join Leicester (Beaumont Park).
This position would involve you working as HR Partner to the Europe Sector Foods function of Research & Development and as part of the global HR team to coach and guide HR partners and business leaders globally on the way they can execute people plans in Europe. You will also play the role of the HR lead partner to our site team to help shape the agenda and culture for the site. Your key focus will be on developing leadership capability/influencing key stakeholders to understand how they can best develop and engage our people while being compliant with our policy and legal frameworks.
Support a discrete function of Global R&D to deliver Global R&D People and Organisation agenda for our associates – delivering for the respective client group initiatives such as global reorganisations/restructurings, capability assessment and development, talent assessment and development, employee engagement, diversity initiatives etc.- Create and deliver functional and site people plans based on business priorities to meet both long and short term business goals including processes to support employee engagement, performance management, talent attraction, retention & succession.
- Ensure leadership capability is continually developed to deliver against business needs.
- Work in close partnership with Global HR, Sector HR and central core people process teams to deliver people plans relevant to audience in site, Europe and Global R&D.
- Help to advise and coach leaders on challenging employee relations matters and coach more junior HR Team members on challenging employee relations cases.
- Work with business unit HR teams as needed for guidance and implementation support when delivering people plans across Global R&D.
- Ensure people metrics are maintained produced providing insight to enhance employee engagement, productivity and retention activities.
- Experience in HR partnering senior business leaders
- Significant amount of Employee Relations experience including influencing of senior stakeholders to accept recommendations.
- Experience managing conflicting priorities with minimal supervision.
- Great communicator with experience of building credible relationships with business leaders at all levels, up to and including Senior Directors.
- Ideally previous experience in working with Centres of Excellence and specialist HR teams to define and deliver solutions through others.
- Commercially focused. Leverages understanding of key business drivers in own area to get results.
- Experience in managing change programmes and conflict situations - anticipates controversial issues and questions to develop effective solutions.
- Evidence of taking well balanced considered risks.
- Sensitive to cultural differences/norms and local practices.
