Role: HR Business Partner
The Vodafone Business Group Product & Services organisation (VBG P&S) is focused on overseeing the entire Global Product Portfolio for Connectivity, Security, Cloud, Edge & MPN and Applications & Solutions and is accountable for driving profitable revenue growth and market share in line with Vodafone Business’ 2025 strategy.
Role Purpose:
Working closely with the Head of HR and business leaders, the HR Business Partner provides expert knowledge to deliver the HR calendar of people activities for the VBG P&S function and partners with managers across the Corporate and Portfolio Strategy, Developer Marketplace, Commercial, Planning & Engagement, Big Data & Analytics and Business Architecture & Platforms business areas.
The HRBP focusses upon the provision of HR advice, delivering the HR strategy and providing generalist services across the HR function, including anticipating and planning for longer term HR needs and trends in partnership with the business.

Assists and advises the business and executes HR processes and activities, for example Resourcing, Performance and Talent Management, Monthly Headcount Reporting and budgeting activities, International Mobility, and the Annual Reward Review (ARR);- Uses best practice knowledge to provide thought leadership to support future capabilities for the business function;
- Understands the business needs and supports the business to make the right people decisions to positively impact the commercials of the business function;
- Ensures strong relations are fostered with management teams and acts positively and effectively as the gatekeeper between the business function and HR/COEs;
- Drives the delivery of transformation projects that improve organisation, team and individual effectiveness;
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, influencing and persuading managers to ensure they are equipped to drive employee engagement and Vodafone behaviours;
- Identifies people or process trends, suggests improvements and ensures that the business function adheres to the delivery of the agreed HR agenda;
- Champions the Vodafone culture, and advocates the HR operating model;
- Provides informal guidance to the HR Graduate.

- Uses the most appropriate searching methods and in-depth assessment techniques in order to attract the best candidates and secure the best talent
- Embeds good quality performance dialogue practice across Vodafone. Ensures Vodafone has a feedback and performance culture and smooth, fit-for-purpose PD process. Creates tools and methodology to set the global standard in Vodafone.
