Job Title

Human Resources (HR) Advisor


Role

To support the Global Head of HR to deliver HR transactional services to the EM&I Group in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company policy, industry best practice, in the most cost-effective manner.


Experience Competencies

  • Previous experience in a centralised and remote HR Team
  • Knowledge of international employment law and working practices

  • Accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Intermediate certificate of competence in Microsoft applications including; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
  • Intermediate certificate of competence in Google Workspace or other similar cloud computing productivity and collaboration applications


Responsibilities


  • Prepare letters for Global Head of HR to review and approval
  • Ensure all employee personnel records up to date using EM&I’s HR Information System (HRIS)
  • Manage the monthly payroll spreadsheet for the monthly payroll meeting with the HR and Finance Teams
  • Manage the starter process (using the checklist) including ensuring that all starters have the required ICT hardware and software and attend starter inductions and training events
  • Manage the leaver process (using the checklist); ensuring all necessary actions are completed
  • Ensure HR documents are up to date i.e., personnel tracking forms, absence forms, starter, and leaver checklists
  • Assist with reviewing and updating HR Policies
  • Ensure EM&I maintains compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and ensure all personnel data is managed and stored securely

  • Carry out regular audits of HRIS
  • Assist with training requests and track training cost Agreements in line with the Training and Development Management System Document
  • Support the Global Head of HR resolve and manage employee relations issues

  • Create job adverts and manage applicant responses using EM&I’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Assist with the sourcing of candidates using websites including LinkedIn, Indeed,

and Seek

  • Arrange interviews and ensure the correct documents are in place (CVs,

job descriptions, Human Job Analysis (HJAs), Personality Profile Analysis (PPA))


Any other ad-hoc or project specific duties as requested by Line Manager.
