A HR role full of variety and true partnering in an organisation operating on a global scale with multiple sites in the UK.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager you'll be providing a range of HR services and support to approximately 250 employees across 4 local sites whilst managing a variety of initiatives and championing the benefits of being a diverse and inclusive company.
You’ll spend time getting to know the people you support; on the shop floor and across your dedicated sites, partnering with senior stakeholders, building strong relationships with managers and employees as well as handling day to day HR issues such as absence management, discipline & grievance, recruitment, succession planning, and people development and training needs.
Leading the D&I and Wellbeing initiatives for our 1200 employees across the UK you’ll also support the D&A testing provision and the income protection claims process.
About you
Ideally, you’ll have HR experience from within a large industrial organisation and multi-cultural environment. You’ll possess the confidence to question and challenge at all levels and be experienced in advising and influencing senior stakeholders.
Additional requirements
Graduate member of CIPD or CIPD qualified to minimum level 5
Experience of working with Unions would be ideal
Knowledge of immigration and right to work in the UK
Working knowledge of HR ERP systems
Must be mobile for potential travel in the UK
