Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
Role: An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and goal-orientated Area Sales Manager to become part of the Polypipe’s sales team. The successful candidate will work to promote the sales of Polypipe Building Products, and develop key merchant accounts both national and independents.
The area covers the post codes of Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Dorchester and Salisbury.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise and develop strong links with the existing customer base to develop sales opportunities which can be fed back through our supply chain partners.
- Generate new contractor business within the region and strive to deliver excellent customer service.
- Strive to deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ambition and be an excellent communicator.
- Previous Sales experience within the Construction Industry is essential.
- Have a technical understanding of Plumbing, Heating & Drainage systems is preferred. It is also crucial that this person is numerate and articulate with their work.
Hours of work: This is a full time role with remote working. There will be travel involved across the South West.
Rate of pay: Competitive Salary on offer, Company Car & Bonus structure.
