THE JOB
Known internally as a People Partner, you’ll be vital to the success of the operation and line managers you partner; it’s all about relationships and building capability within the workforce.
You know HR but your business just doesn’t value it as it should, maybe it’s even seen as a hindrance rather than a solution! Simplify know that there is nothing more important than it’s People.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be the trusted person to upskill managers and provide toolkits and guidance across the HR framework, including:
- Training on People management
- Employee relations
- Succession planning
- People engagement
- Overall capability
- Policy development
In addition to the above, we will make sure you have exposure to HR strategy and get the opportunities to develop additional skills by supporting the Strategic People Partners in their role.

REQUIREMENTS
And now for the nitty gritty:
You’ll need to have experience in a generalist HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor capacity and be able to build strong and effective relationships with colleagues and line managers.
You’ll need sound HR knowledge and be CIPD qualified and registered (minimum level 5 or tangible equivalent experience).
Experience of carrying your own ER caseload is essential although it is important to note that this role's main focus is on Partnering with our managers and is not a pure ER position.
Many of your duties can be performed remotely, however you will need to expect to travel to our sites across the UK as and when required, on average twice a week, to build and maintain key relationships with the wider team and your stakeholders, as well as supporting on cases in person.. Therefore you will need a full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own vehicle.
