The role of HR & Benefits Assistant has been created to support the Senior Benefits Manager with the continuing expansion of Everest International, providing first class administration management of all employee benefits internationally and advisory support on international benefit policies, procedures to managers, employees and prospective candidates.
This individual will also support the Senior Payroll Manager, Everest International with payroll processing and provide HR Administrative cover and support where required.
The role will report to the Senior Benefits Manager, Everest International
Key responsibilities:
Day to day responsibility for international benefits administration, including benefits information for new hires, leavers, transfers and other changes. Where benefits are administered locally in the international locations, an oversight of the benefit and processes is required.
Area of focus internationally are:
- Risk Benefits (Life & Disability)
- Retirement arrangements
- Tax efficient schemes (e.g. UK Childcare vouchers and Cycle to Work)
- Medical Insurance
- Wellness programmes such as digital GP and Wellbeing services
- Global Employee Assistance Programme and other global employee benefit initiatives
- Country specific allowances and local choice schemes
Skills & Abilities:
- HR administration experience preferred but extensive general administrative experience is required
- International Benefits and/or payroll experience highly desirable
- Experience of using HR systems (Workday) desirable
- Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information
- Excellent communications skills, able to handle efficient one to one communication in a tactful and engaging manner
- Collaboration and ability to establish trustful working relationships with the wider international HR team
- High level of numeracy and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and as well as under direction
- Can do attitude, constructive and positive thinker
