The Role
We are looking for an HR Apprentice to join our Fedcap team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to start a career in HR and will work towards a level 3 HR qualification. Reporting to our People Operations Manager, you will support our HR Administration and Recruitment teams to provide a great experience for our people and candidates right across the business.
You will work closely with members of the People Team, managers and colleagues from across Fedcap, helping to make sure we respond to requests and changes quickly and efficiently and provide great customer service.
This will be an important role in our people team, all of whom are focussed on supporting Fedcap to be a great place to work.
You will be office based with a salary of £21,255 during your apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
Your Apprenticeship will be focused on specific HR areas such as:
- Support the HR Coordinators by being a point of contact for HR related issues
- Support the Recruitment Partners with our end-to-end recruitment activity.
- Liaise with candidates to ensure they have a great experience with us, arranging interviews and completing associated paperwork.
- Support on-boarding of new recruits including background checking and preparation of offers and contracts.
- Work on innovative solutions to key HR challenges including employee engagement initiatives and ideas.
- HR Administrative support including data management, time and attendance and various HR reports.
- Support the HR Coordinators in tasks such as Maternity, Paternity, Parental Leave and Flexible Working requests
- Bring a fresh perspective and introduce new ideas to support the development of a modern and engaging workplace.
- Assist in any other admin tasks as requested by HR Coordinators and recruitment teams.
- Ensure confidentiality is always maintained.
Person Specification
- HR administration experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Competent with MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organised and able to meet demanding deadlines
