Motor Transport Administrator
Reporting to Assistant Motor Transport Manager
Salary: £26,479.44
37 hours per week – Monday to Friday
As Bristol Airport continues to experience a period of significant growth and transformation, we’re seeking an Administrator to join us on a 9-month temporary basis in our Motor Transport Department. Due to the nature of this role, you’ll be based on site in our Motor Transport office, with some hybrid working available.
Based within our Motor Transport team and reporting into our Motor Transport Manager, you’ll provide full administrative support to our Motor Transport team and assist with processing our data for our internal and external customer database.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Administrator looking for a role within an exciting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· You’ll work closely with our Finance team in raising invoices, helping with credit control, purchase ledger and providing end of month reports on revenue & costs. In addition, you’ll also assist our Motor Transport Manager in budgeting and re-forecasting of department revenue and costs
· Process permit passes for business partners and airport departments
· You’ll maintain detailed vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair records, raising vehicle maintenance and fuel sales invoices in the relevant Motor Transport system and transferring these correctly into the Finance system
· Coordinate and obtain road fund licenses for Bristol Airport vehicles and equipment
· You’ll also be the main point of contact for queries from Bristol Airport staff, business partners and visitors, referring to the Motor Transport Manager and Assistant Manager including Senior Transport Engineers as required
About You:
- You’ll have strong communication skills with the ability to forge effective, collaborative working relationships at all levels
- The ability to organise and prioritise your time and workload to deliver to deadlines
- Proficient IT skills with proven use of the MS Office suite of programmes and ability to understand and utilise finance systems such as Dynamics 365
- Highly self-motivated, with a ‘sleeves rolled up, get stuck in’ approach and positive attitude
