Job description

RPS Group is looking for an HR Analyst to join our Services Human Resources team based in Huddersfield on a Fixed Term Contract of 6 months.

This position can be considered on a full time or part time basis. The primary focus of the role will be to provide administrative support, MI and reporting data to the HR Director for the Services division.


What you'll be doing


  • To produce management information reports to support strategic decision making
  • To provide administrative and coordination support with HR related project work or initiatives
  • To support the Services HR team on Reward activity: tasks ranging from coordinating the annual performance development review, development plans and management development in to a Calendar of Events to organising benefit analysis.
  • Support the team on reward related projects.
  • Support and maintain spreadsheets/forms/timetables/reports in line with direction of the HR Director, highlighting any potential risk areas.
  • Identify trends from MI and make recommendations to improve the process in the compensation & benefits area.
  • Complete detailed analysis and checking as directed by the HR Director.
  • Document and map existing and new process to meet internal governance standards.
  • Deliver initiatives and projects to drive improved value
  • Maintain the communication calendar and work with corporate comms to identify the best solution in getting the messages across
  • Provide support to the HR team on specific HR projects including updating spreadsheets, reconciling budgets and managing Q & A processes.

Who we're looking for

The knowledge and experience required for this role is as follows:


  • Proven strong administration and analytical skills, preferably with HR knowledge
  • Advanced skills using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access
  • Excellent communications skills – to be able to communicate with internal customers at all levels
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Works efficiently with excellent time management and ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written, numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
  • High levels of integrity and respect for confidentiality
