Responsibilities May Include:-
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Follow care plans and assist with medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with behaviour management and provide emotional support to patients
- Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition for patients
- Drive patients to appointments or accompany them on outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with hospice care and case management is beneficial
- Ability to lift heavy objects or assist with transferring patients
