The St Mungo’s HR team are looking to achieve a number of ambitious and compelling goals which will have a huge impact on the organisation and its service users.
You will be joining an enthusiastic team. We pride ourselves of supporting personal development and career progression. You will be working alongside a Junior Employee Relations Advisor and an Employee Relations Manager.
As an ER Advisor, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing HR advice to designated teams and areas on a broad range of generalist HR and employee relations issues.
- Advising, coaching, training and enabling managers in order that they can manage their people well and deliver an effective service.
- Ensuring that a high quality, responsive, reliable and proactive service is provided to all internal customers.
- Undertaking relevant HR projects to improve the quality of the service in line with organisational objectives.
About you
To be successful in the role you will have experience of providing advice on employee relations matters within a generalist HR environment, including managing cases to resolution. You should also have a strong understanding of employment law, good management practice and stakeholder management. Ideally, you will be a qualified member of CIPD (Level 5 or 7) or have significant equivalent experience of HR issues.
