Our Payments & Banking Administrators ensure the accurate, efficient, controlled and timely maintenance of the Accounts Payable and Payments processes, bank reconciliations, and daily cashflow analysis. The Payments and Banking Administrator position would suit those who have great attention to detail and communication skills, with an interest in finance. You do not need to have previous experience in a payments & banking role, as full training will be provided.
The location for this role is our Swansea office. The classification of this role is Hybrid. Typically, this has entailed three days collaborating with colleagues in the office and two days working from home per week.
Supported by the Banking Manager your main responsibilities in the role will be:
- Processing daily cheque runs through our cheque production application
- Maintaining stop cheque process - notifications to banks and updating relevant internal teams
- Processing electronic payments (BACS/CHAPS/Faster) through the banking Internet payment tool
- Resolving invoice queries and troubleshooting
- Preparing and running weekly supplier runs
- Processing personal expense claims, ensuring they're coded properly with relevant supporting receipts
- Liaising with Purchasing to ensure new suppliers are created on the system correctly
- Ensuring that queries are followed up in a timely manner
