About the Role
Team Member - M&S Simply Food - Newcastle Station
PART TIME AVAILABILITY ONLY
Rate of pay is £10.42 per hour
- Additional £1.20 per hour for work between midnight and 6am
We are looking for Part Time (21h a week) Team Members to join our M&S Newcastle Station.
As a team member you will work a variety of shifts between 5:30am and 10pm.
Please note 5:30 start is compulsory for this role and candidates not available for early shift will not be considered.
Don't worry if you don't have any experience as we will teach you everything you need to know to do well in this role.
Responsibilities for Team Member:
- Demonstrate knowledge of M&S products to advise customers in a professional and helpful manner
- Maintain all unit displays in accordance with M&S standards
- Consistently meet shift/daily average spend, waste and portion control targets
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in all work areas
- Stock movement and replenish
- Date check and rotation as well as price reduction
Requirements for Team Member:
- Due to some responsibilities within the Team Member role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes on the shift
