Mini MBA
The Mini MBA series is a pair of hugely successful online learning programs developed by world renowned professor Mark Ritson. Covering the same content and theories taught on top MBA programmes around the world but in just 12 online lessons, it gives marketers the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their careers.
Over 24,000 students have completed one of our courses since their inception and as we grow, the demand for a community platform and networking opportunities has become impossible to ignore. The Mini MBA Alumni Network is a paid, online community exclusively designed to meet the ongoing learning and networking needs of those who have completed the Mini MBA.
The Role
We’re looking for an organised and confident community manager to run this network, to become the face of the Mini MBA Alumni community and to drive the content and engagement strategy. Working closely with the product and marketing teams, and with Mark Ritson, this position is critical to the future direction of the Mini MBA and a great opportunity to head up something truly valuable and exciting for our customers.
Main Responsibilities of a Community Manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and developing a community management strategy
- Organising various community building initiatives to cultivate and grow participation in the network.
- Developing and managing social media coverage for Instagram and Facebook
- Creating or commissioning content such as blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
- Monitoring and optimising community engagement levels
Key Requirements
- You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- You have prior experience within Community Management.
- You are a people person and can empathise and build rapport with others easily.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships with and influence stakeholders.
- You have event management skills and can handle several responsibilities in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- You are adept at managing social media.
- You have excellent written & verbal communication skills and can generate impactful content.
- You are organized and able to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables.
